SAS came through. We had flights back to the US. For better or worse, the plane didn’t leave until the end of the day, giving us a bonus half day left to spend in Stockholm. We decided to check out the Nationalmuseum, which is the National Museum of Fine Arts.

It was a beautiful museum. Julie enjoyed the sculpture of Thor.

I mean, Julie *really* enjoyed some of the sculptures.

We also saw some interesting nerd art, including this piece distorted by design, so that the image can only be seen correctly by placing a reflective cylinder on it.

Soon, it was time to say goodbye to Stockholm. We headed to the airport, boarded our plane, and hoped for the best!

After a short flight, we landed in Copenhagen, where we slept in a hotel for a few hours. In the morning, we boarded our flight to US, and were home before we knew it.

Stockholm and our nearby excursions had been amazing. We can’t wait to go back!
